5. Report and response to the petitioner
The committee tables a report in the House with its findings and recommendations. The House may debate and adopt it, and the petitioner is informed of the outcome.
Recommendations may call for action by government, a change in the law, or no further action. Implementation is followed up through the House's oversight work.
